About James & Lois Cowan
The Cowans both are licensed paramedics, EMS expert witnesses, and certified death investigators. Their paramedic education was at the University of Pittsburgh's Center for Emergency Medicine. They hold undergraduate and graduate degrees from Williams College, Goddard College, and Harvard University.
Parents to eight with six grandchildren, the couple jointly writes on both their farm on Islesboro Island, Maine and on their tramp steamer COCONUTS tied up in Key West Bight.
